Matt Protector and Sealer Kit – Bi-Component Sealer For Plasters, Microcement Showers & Floors

MATT PROTECTOR 2K is a high-performance, two-component matte sealer designed to protect and preserve decorative finishes on walls and floors. Formulated with polyurethane resins in aqueous emulsion, it provides a durable, transparent matte finish suitable for a wide range of interior and exterior applications.

As the final protective layer in the MICROMARMO system, MATT PROTECTOR 2K delivers excellent resistance to wear and abrasion while creating a highly effective waterproof barrier. Its strong consolidating and dust-proofing properties also make it ideal for sealing industrial concrete floors.

This multifunctional sealer is compatible with decorative cycles such as OXYD’ARTHE, RUSTYLE, and mural finishes, offering long-lasting protection without altering their aesthetic qualities. Its reliable waterproofing performance also makes it suitable for lime-based decorative finishes within shower areas and other moisture-exposed environments.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

• Thoroughly mix the two components for approximately 3 minutes, then filter the product before use.

• Apply in two coats, leaving a 24-hour interval between applications.

• For very absorbent concrete surfaces, the first coat may be applied diluted with 20% water, followed by two undiluted coats.

• Apply by roller, brush, or spray, avoiding extreme temperatures (below 10°C, or above 30°C on sun-exposed surfaces) and high humidity.

• Protect treated surfaces from rain for at least 48 hours.
