CALCE & CLAY SCULTURA

Calce & Clay Scultura is a powder lime-and-clay decorative plaster designed to create rich 3D texture, depth, and artistic high-relief finishes for premium interior spaces. It can be moulded, modelled, and customized into soft or bold effects, ranging from refined sculptural movement to natural rock-inspired textures.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Prepare the surface with Primer RV.

Mix Calce & Clay Scultura powder with 30% clean water. Work in batches, as the product remains mouldable for approximately 1 hour. If colouring the mixture, add the pigment to the water first, then adjust the total water quantity accordingly.

Apply the first coat using a stainless steel trowel and allow it to dry. Apply a second coat at greater thickness. While this layer is still wet, shape and sculpt the surface to achieve the desired texture or design. The mouldable nature of the material allows for a wide range of decorative and 3D effects using a trowel, brush, sponge, or even by hand, similar to traditional plastering techniques.

Allow sufficient drying time between layers.

Seal the surface with Velatura. Velatura can be tinted to add colour and create more depth in the Calce & Clay Scultura finish.
